Spice Land Indian Restaurant | Our Story

Three Decades of Devotion, One Downtown Table

SpiceLand has been serving authentic Indian food since 1999, making it one of the longest-standing Indian restaurants in Bend, Oregon. The food is built around grandmother's recipes, preserved and handed down through generations, rich with distinctive flavors from fresh herbal spices imported directly from India. The concept bridges North and South Indian cuisine under one roof — a relatively rare combination that allows the restaurant to serve everything from hearty Punjabi curries to delicate South Indian dosas and sambar. It's located in downtown Bend at 945 NW Bond St, open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner, and bar service.

Since 1999, our founder has spent more than 25 years bringing authentic Indian cuisine to the Pacific Northwest — building trust, one plate at a time. Spiceland is the latest chapter in that journey, and the most personal one yet.

We import spices directly from India so the flavors are as true as the recipes. From silky palak paneer to slow-cooked lamb curry — no shortcuts, ever.
